Mayor Fergen signed a Mayoral Proclamation at the last council meeting declaring the week of April 19-25, 2026 to be National Library Week. We encourage you to visit them on their special week of celebration. Our Library offers a space that sparks creativity and fuels imagination. We are lucky to have a wonderful staff over there to serve as a community hub here in Lennox.

You've probably seen the signage but if you haven't here is your heads up!! This project includes several roadway improvements on Hwy 44 and is tentatively scheduled to be completed in October
The north–south segment from 279th Street to 280th Street will be reconstructed with two 12-foot lanes, a center turn lane, 8-foot shoulders, and roadway lighting. The east–west segment from 280th Street to Interstate 29 will be milled and resurfaced to provide a smoother, safer ride for travelers. and the dotted blue line is the designated detoured route leading into town.

This month's Park Board meeting will look slightly different; with the beautiful weather the Board will being doing a Park walk through instead of meeting at City Hall. On April 7th, Lincoln County Highway Department will be closing the intersection of CR105 (466th Ave) and CR116 (276th St) for the construction of a roundabout. Tentatively, this intersection will be closed until mid to late August. Please follow the designated detour routes.

As it gets nicer out we wanted to remind you to register your golf cart! If you have done this previous years then you do not need to get another one!! Our golf cart permits are valid for as long as you have the golf cart.
Please note that there a couple upcoming dates that City Hall and our other City Offices will be closed for the declared administrative days.
Congratulations to the Lennox Powerlifting Teams on their recent State Championship wins! At last night's meeting, Mayor Danny Fergen issued a Mayoral proclamation celebrating this team and their success this season, and naming March 23 as Lennox Oriole Powerlifting Day!

**Now Hiring: Youth Baseball & Softball Umpires**
We’re currently looking for umpires for this summer’s youth baseball (10U & 12U) and softball (8U–14U)! This is a great way to earn money, stay involved in the game, and give back to the community. An umpire plays an important role by enforcing game rules, making judgment calls, and ensuring player safety & good sportsmanship.
Game Times are typically 6:00–9:00 PM, Monday–Thursday

Good morning. With most of Lincoln County roads completely ice/snow covered and blizzard conditions, no travel outside of town is advised. It is simply not safe out there. Please keep our first responders safe today by limiting travel to that which is only absolutely necessary.
Before you leave for State Basketball tommorrow, please consider moving vehicles off of the street in advance of the impending snow. We do anticipate issuing a snow alert, so any vehicles not moved will be towed at the owner’s expense!
