Mayor Fergen signed a Mayoral Proclamation at the last council meeting declaring the week of April 19-25, 2026 to be National Library Week. We encourage you to visit them on their special week of celebration. Our Library offers a space that sparks creativity and fuels imagination. We are lucky to have a wonderful staff over there to serve as a community hub here in Lennox.

The north–south segment from 279th Street to 280th Street will be reconstructed with two 12-foot lanes, a center turn lane, 8-foot shoulders, and roadway lighting. The east–west segment from 280th Street to Interstate 29 will be milled and resurfaced to provide a smoother, safer ride for travelers. and the dotted blue line is the designated detoured route leading into town.

**Now Hiring: Youth Baseball & Softball Umpires**
We’re currently looking for umpires for this summer’s youth baseball (10U & 12U) and softball (8U–14U)! This is a great way to earn money, stay involved in the game, and give back to the community. An umpire plays an important role by enforcing game rules, making judgment calls, and ensuring player safety & good sportsmanship.
Game Times are typically 6:00–9:00 PM, Monday–Thursday

Input will be used to develop the community wide survey that will be sent out later this Spring / early Summer.
