Lennox is organized as an Aldermanic form of government under SDCL Chapter 9-8.  The City Council consists of a Mayor elected at-large, and two Aldermen elected from each of the three Wards. Each elected official serves a two-year term.

The Lennox City Council meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at City Hall. All meetings are open to the public, and can be watched live online here.
